The Lovely Sergeant. Flora Sandes, daughter of an English country parson, achieved something that was remarkable for a woman even by Great War standards : she enlisted as a private in the Serbian army. A very tidy book with slight tape ghosting on the inside front covers and the dust jacket has a large closed tear on the back (now covered by Mylar sleeve).
