Travelling About Over New And Old Ground by Lady Barker. With maps and illustrations. Half Leather binding - without the corner pieces. This book has been repaired along the spine and the inside front and rear paste downs have been replaced. The binding is parting in places and there are some loose pages but all appears to be complete. A small pasted sticker stating 'English Rooms Funchal' on the inside front cover and Funchal English Rooms stamp on several inside pages. Frontispiece of Richard O'Hara Burke with tissue still intact and a small etching of a Maori with tattooed head on the title page. Overall an interesting scarce book with noted faults.
