Daryl Crimp's Fishing Tails. 'Daryl Crimp is New Zealand's foremost fishing cartoonist and humourist. Born near Nelson, he developed a passion for fishing prior to his birth and it is rumoured that he was born with a rod in his hand. Following a colourful early career, he settled in Nelson as a full-time cartoonist and part time fisherman. He hopes to reverse that order. His only claim to fame in fishing circles came the moment he foul-hooked his only big snapper and had the foresight to change his shirt several times. His father then took a whole roll of film from different angles of him holding the fish with each costume change. This did a lot to enhance his reputation as a snapper catcher of repute amongst those silly enough to believe his Tails.' The book has medium general wear with bumps and creases and small stains but holding together and most enjoyable to read.
