This book was first published in 1882, Reprinted 1883, 1889, 1891, and with corrections 1892. Reprinted and revised in 1893, 1895. The book has many previous owners notes and dates of ownership on the inside front pages both in pencil and ink. The binding is becoming loose but still holding well. The page edges are rough trimmed and there are some old ink stains. The covers have bumps to the corners and some small areas of scuffing. Overall a reasonable copy of a classic title with faults.
