Motorcycle care and Maintenance
Description
Motorcycle care and Maintenance by Jim Lindsay. 'Motorcycle owners are sometimes reluctant to repair and service their own bikes, yet working on a machine can be just as much fun as riding it. Jim Lindsay, Editor of 'Mechanics Magazine' goes out of his way to show how straightforward many of the tasks are. He describes in clear and concise terms, often using step-by-step photographs, exactly how to look after your bike, and covers all the basic problems a rider is likely to encounter. Jim Lindsay begins by describing the tools you need to work on your motorcycle and then gives advice on workshop practice. This is followed by a section on routine maintenance, including engine, brakes, suspension, tyres, chain, and battery, plus helpful service schedules. He then covers lubrication for four- and two-stroke; rolling gear like wheels and bearings, brakes, tyres, chains and sprockets; front and rear suspension and steering; and electrics and ignition systems.' The book has medium general wear and remains in a workshop used condition but still most useful.
