Description

Kiwi at Large. Errol Allison was born in Wyndham in the far south of New Zealand in 1918. He was educated at Wyndham Primary School and at Southland Boys' High School, where his interest were athletics, boxing, rugby and history. In 1939 he volunteered for army service with the First Echelon of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. After seeing much action and being taken prisoner by the Germans, he returned to New Zealand in 1945. 1954 saw him travel overseas again and this book is the tale of his journey. Ex Library Book with all the usual stamps and markings. This book is fairly well worn around the edges but remains complete and all the photo plates appear to be present.
